Frösåker Brygga

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding at the beautiful Frösåker Brygga, a peaceful lakeside setting just outside Västerås. Surrounded by nature, water and a little Viking history, it is the perfect place for a weekend of love, laughter and celebration.

Frösåker Brygga is around a 20-minute drive from central Västerås. As the venue is outside the city centre, we warmly recommend staying on site at the hotel so you can relax and make the most of the celebrations. Things to enjoy nearby

There is plenty to explore during your stay:

• Play a round of golf or padel at Frösåker.
• Step into the past at Frösåkers Brygga – Västerås Historical Ship Museum, home to Viking ships, medieval vessels and traditional Swedish boats.
• Take a peaceful walk in the nearby Frösåker Nature Reserve. Follow the red trail—and try not to get too lost… especially as we are celebrating on Halloween! 🎃

Stay & Travel

Frösåker Brygga is a peaceful countryside venue, approximately a 20-minute drive from central Västerås. To make the most of the wedding weekend, we recommend planning your accommodation and travel early.

Arriving via Stockholm Arlanda Airport

For guests flying into Sweden, Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a convenient option. From the airport, you can take a direct Vy bus to Västerås Resecentrum. The buses depart from Arlanda Terminals 2 and 5.

From Västerås, Frösåker Brygga is best reached by car or taxi. There is no direct public transport to the venue.

If several guests arrive at similar times, we will do our best to coordinate a shared transfer. Please tell us your arrival date, time and flight details in the RSVP form so that we can explore the best options.

Staying at Frösåker Brygga

As the wedding celebrations will take place at Frösåker Brygga, we warmly recommend staying on site. It means less travel, more time together, and the chance to enjoy the beautiful setting throughout the weekend.
